SHEDDING SOME LIGHT ON HOW TO STUDY THE BIBLE

Sometimes people try to study the Bible, by reading it the same way they read any other book. They begin to read it like it is a well written novel for their amusement. They never really open up themselves to learn what they read. They read with the hopes that everything they read will be etched in their minds, as if their minds were computerized study boards. It is so obvious why their study does not last long, because they become bored. As they read the words without understanding how to study them, they become tired of trying to interpret what it is that they are reading.

They find it difficult to understand what they read. They can't grasp how this Bible relates to their everyday lives and may even think it is a rather dull book for reading and quite repetitious. In reading The Bible it will explain that only certain people will be able to understand God's Words and they fail at studying the Bible because they are not spiritually prepared to study the God's Words. Reading the Bible is not like reading any other book. One must be completely ready to embark on a wonderful journey through the history of the word, which will take you through the wonderful creativity of God and all of His marvelous works.

You must understand that there is a hidden realm which is unreachable by the common flesh of man. The Bible states that you must seek God in Spirit and that you must be in the Spirit of the Holy Ghost to gain this understanding. For it is written that "no one can see the Father but by the Son" and since you cannot see the Lord with the naked eye of your flesh you just see words on a page that you don't understand. This Spiritual Realm cannot be entered unless you are in the Spirit of Christ which is the Holy Ghost who resides in those who are alive in Christ. This Spiritual Realm is The presence of God, and without Christ you can
not enter this realm.

The Bible is like keys which open doors to your understanding. In the presence of God you will find the hidden treasures which are the promises and blessings. This Bible reveals the heart of God for his people. There are sixty six (66) keys that open the sixty six treasures of God.

This book of knowledge is also a tool that will also instruct and warn you of the curses that lie within disobedience. For how shall you know that you have sinned against your God if you don't know what sin is. How will you know that you are keeping his commandments and statutes if you don't know what they are.

In understanding the relativity of the Bible you will understand that every time you open this book to read, the scriptures will be relevant to your specific needs for whatever situation you're dealing with at that time.

Love that prevents the Promise

Taught by Evangelist DeBorah Fields, Prophet of God 12/03/2010 : TRANSCRIPT # PDF 00001

Satan the author of confusion king of liars will use any opportunity to stop the will of God. He who is evil monopolizes any and every opportunity to stop the blessing of God from coming to pass. As soon as you become close to God and his kingdom is being released to you, look out, here comes the enemy.

Look with me at Matt 16:16 (NKV) Where God the Father reveals the Son Jesus as Christ to Peter. Jesus points out his Father in Peters knowledge and blesses Peter with the keys to the kingdom in Matt 16:18 -19 when He empowers Peter, the church and gives him the power to bind and loose things in the earth in agreement with heaven. We must agree that he was indeed given the keys to the kingdom.

Now look at what happens just shortly after gaining the keys to the kingdom what happens to Peter. I know it was right after that because even though Matthew paused, Mark went right into Jesus teaching and revealing his death to the disciples. I looked for it in Luke, but he didn’t omit it because he fell asleep he just wasn’t there so he had to rely on the reports of others and he didn’t get the whole report or didn’t think that this small bit of information was important. However small this bit of information was, it was the meat of the verse, because those events packed a wallop of a punch to Satan. We should’ve learned right there that Satan slithers into things we think are innocent, this is why we have to stay in the Spirit. We must be Christ minded that we see this devil wherever he is.

They were on the journey to the cross. Jesus was preparing them for the things to come. Peter pulls him aside to rebuke him, he was not setting well with the things Jesus revealed, he was trying to prevent Jesus from the things that were to come, now he thought he was doing something out of love, he was assuring Jesus that things would not come to pass if he had anything to do with it. See how Satan slithers in and nobody saw him but Jesus.

He is using the fear of Peter to control the situation that he might send the Word of God back to Him void. Didn’t I tell you that he was a liar? His mission was to keep Jesus from the cross, because Jesus revealed it to them, he knew that Jesus knew what awaited him on this journey, but he was not aborting the trip, so something must be up, so now he will cause Peter to rebuke Jesus out of love.  Appeal to his heart. That devil is cunning and crafty, he knows exactly what and who to use and just when to use them. Watch and pray I tell you, Watch and pray. Careful, don’t let the devil stop Gods purpose for your life. Don’t allow him to distract you, deceive you and keep you ignorant about the things of God.

Flip the script like Jesus did, rebuke the devil as soon as you feel that something is taking you away from your purpose, anyone who is not happy about your purpose, your call, or your walk with God, rebuke them right away, because sooner or later, they will try to sway your mind to the their thinking. I had to learn the hard way that the devil uses whomever he pleases to do his will. So your mother could very well be used by him to stop your purpose and it seems like her agenda, but it’s that evil one using whatever he can, whomever he can to stop your flow in the things of God.

You are focusing on your enemies, but you won’t allow your enemies to get close enough to you to touch anything, and the devil knows that, this is why he uses those closest to you to distract you, and deceive you.   Anybody know what I’m talking about?  Innocently you are off track and you can’t figure out why. You are not crazy; there is something wrong, the devil is messing in your mixing. You can’t get it right, you can’t quite put your finger on it, but you know something is wrong, because you dream mini series, but in the last few nights, you haven’t heard from God. He hasn’t waken you up as usual, he keep you asleep, because as soon as you are awake the devil is messing in your mixing. Somebody better act as if you know what I’m talking about. Am I the only one struggling to stay saved?

Oh, ok, I’m by myself, everybody looking at me like you on your own sister girl, I don’t have no struggles, I don’t have nothing that I’m trying hard to stay out of, I don’t have the urge to sin no more, temptation don’t follow me like a shadow, I don’t have to fight to stay out of sin. You better get to the altar if that is the case. I have to fight everyday to stay out of sin. Everyday is a struggle to stay holy; I got to stay close to God daily, all day. You know that song the places I used to go, I don’t go them anymore, they didn’t stop going because they became so holy, they don’t go because if they go they will fall back into sin.

I find myself singing new songs, songs that will keep my mind stayed on Jesus, so I don’t fall back into sin. I don’t know about you but when I was out in the world sinning I liked to do the sinful things I did, so it’s a fight and a struggle to stay out, I didn’t get saved because I hate sinning. I came because God called me and He has a way of calling you different any other call, he starts to make things fall down around you, He causes you to have to lean to him and only him, in other words, He makes the world you love too hot for you.

Well let’s get back to our subject before the whole subject changes. That evil devil is always looking for way s to steal the seed, the word before it has a chance to take root in you. I wonder how many people were confused by the verses that followed in Mark 8:33 and  Matt 16:23;  When Jesus rebuked Peter calling him an offense to him; and pointing out that he was not mindful to things of God, but to the things of men. Ok let’s read it from Matt 1622 and 23 and Mark 8:31 through 33. Keep in mind that God is not the author of confusion. When you look at the events that transpired it would appear to some that Jesus was rebuking Peter and all Peter was doing was loving on him, but no God was rebuking the enemies thought he placed in Peter.

Jesus was revealing the enemy using Peter to rebuke Him. So even though Peter had a different motive from the enemy the outcome would’ve been the same, because both was trying to keep him from dying but for different reasons thus stopping the promise of God from coming to pass. We got to watch out for the enemy in places that’s not obvious of him being.

Isn’t it ironic how the enemy will pull even the elect aside and whisper in his ears? If they weren’t sure who he was that should’ve given them a clue. Oh, thank God for the Word. What an awesome message inspired by the Holy Ghost.

If you don’t know the love of God for yourself, come take his hand and allow him to take you unto himself. Confess the Lord your God as your Savior and invite the Holy Ghost to come live on the inside of you. There is no greater love than a man that has laid down his life for you to be free from sin and full of His Spirit. When you put on Christ, you are no longer taking on the world by yourself, for if God is for you then who can stand against you. Don’t just live to go to church from Sunday to Sunday and maybe Bible study, but come live a full and victorious life with Christ, join him in relationship. If you are ready to live a godly life full of great expectations, pray this prayer.

Father in the name of Jesus I denounce the word and all the sinful things of the world and I pronounce that you are my Savior and I want to live a Holy life filled with your Spirit. I ask you Father in the name of Jesus to forgive me as I repent my sins to you Lord. I ask you now in the name of Jesus that you allow your Spirit to dwell within me, teach me how to seek you Lord for guidance and if there is any doubt Lord please help my disbelief. I profess and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior and was born of a woman to die and Rise again. Hallelujah. Amen.

Hebrews 2 (NKJV)

Do Not Neglect Salvation

1 Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. 2 For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, 3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, 4 God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?
The Son Made Lower than Angels

5 For He has not put the world to come, of which we speak, in subjection to angels. 6 But one testified in a certain place, saying:

“ What is man that You are mindful of him,
Or the son of man that You take care of him?
       7 You have made him a little lower than the angels;
You have crowned him with glory and honor,
And set him over the works of Your hands.
8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet.”

For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him. 9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.

Bringing Many Sons to Glory

10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. 11 For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, 12 saying:

      “ I will declare Your name to My brethren;
In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You.”

 13 And again:

“ I will put My trust in Him.”[

   And again:

“ Here am I and the children whom God has given Me.”

14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham. 17 Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. 18 For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.

1 Corinthians 6 (NKJ)

Do Not Sue the Brethren

1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints? 2 Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life? 4 If then you have judgments concerning things pertaining to this life, do you appoint those who are least esteemed by the church to judge? 5 I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brethren? 6 But brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers!
7 Now therefore, it is already an utter failure for you that you go to law against one another. Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why do you not rather let yourselves be cheated? 8 No, you yourselves do wrong and cheat, and you do these things to your brethren! 9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
Glorify God in Body and Spirit

12 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 13 Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14 And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.
15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! 16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.” 17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.
18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
