A GODLY WOMAN
WHEN IS ENOUGH, ENOUGH? WHEN WILL WE STAND UP AND PICK UP THE MANTLE?
I am watching another generation of people of color fade to white. Becoming extinct in place our ancestor fought and died for. When are we as a people going to stand? Are we going to keep killing each other, accomplishing nothing, leave the generation of our children in a mess because we are too weak and afraid to stand for what we believe? Do you believe that all those people gave up their freedom and some their lives so that we could sit back and chill and just go with the flow? Was MLK's dream of togetherness only so that we could jump in and out of bed with our white co habitants? NO he shared his dream with us that we would have the freedom to join the forces and be able to work, live and be successful along side them. When he said hold hands, he didn't mean just to have the right to marry, but to hold hands in unity as an equal to build a rich society in which to raise and teach our children, to be given the opportunity to be co productive, building a better world for our children and our childrens' children.
We have become so free that we are just satisfied with anything. We allow our children to think it is alright to just exist. The devil is a liar. Ok I agree the ball got dropped a generation do to some heavy partying and be free went to a few folks head, they just forgot to come back and fight for any of the causes that promote our race and who we are and what we are about. Look around people when is the last time you saw more than any kings or queens, and I don't mean you who think you are some superior beings or something, you will learn on your own time, nobody has time to deal with stupidity we'll come back to you later, when we get the more important things out of the way.
When is the last time you turned on your television and saw a good show with people of color in them, and they were the portrait somone positive for our children? What they give a few black actresses and actors an award here or there when someone mentions its and you think that is a good thing. Don't our children need to see someone on tv besides pookie and dem? Do you wonder why your daughter thinks her dress should be showing her navel? Do you wonder why your son doesnt know that belts are made to hold up his pants , and oh yeah know that they can if you pull them up look neatly around his waist? Is it any better to have a bunch of over aged women who should know better parade themselves around on a show and tell us that this is what housewives really do? I don't know about you but I can't remember ever having time to do some of those things they do, I was too tired after taking care of the real things wives and mothers do. Is it me or does everybody's mama have a crack addiction, and if they do, is it the worlds business to know? Do you really want to have your impressionable daughter think that the only way she can get ahead is to go on a show and fight for the attention of a man way too old for her with children her age?
Who cares who shot JR our children are dying like animals in the streets and nobody offers a finger to help.
Do you wonder why every preacher in America is running to other countries to deliver people from hunger, poverty, and lack of salvation? When their neighbors right next door to their church has not had food, clothes and is struggling to pay the rent and keep heat. Is that not poverty enough? When we are bailing out banks so that they can turn around and put people in the streets. Is anyone paying attention? As for salvation, the bible says clean out the beam from your own eye, that eye is a counry her called american going to hell in a hand basket and nobody wants to save them. We have pimps, pushers, hookers, strippers, drug addicts, and a whole lot more right her in our neighborhood, our children can hardly walk to school without being introduced to something foul and you go to another continent to deliver salvation? Yes I know your neighborhood is clean, but when you get finished with yours move to mine, if we put more of our energy in our own surroundings America might some day be great. You are fighting causes in Africa, and the Middle east and everywhere outside of the US and child there is a civil war to fight right here. Civil Rights, Women Rights, Equality, just to name a few and you think it is impressive when you go to build houses in other countries when 48% of America is either homeless or almost there? You adopt children from other countries to parade in front of the world as your own, so who's caring for the millions of children who lost their parents to jails, and death by crime or illnesses? Yes they are right here? While it's alright to be International but at least share the same where you live. Charity begins at home.
Did you really think that the US would be better for people of color because we finally got person of color as president? Or did you know it was a political move to put a stop to change? Is any of the issues yoiu have really being addressed? I dare you to tell me that you so confident in your choice that you are not waiting for the other shoe to drop.
You better not lose your job and need any help from the Government because you will see how much change has been made. The country is still being run on Bush's agenda, by the time change can take place the color of the justice will have changed again. Nothing will have changed for black people in america, and the republican party will be back to pick up where they left off. I can tell you something that will change in the these four years, the ambitions of our children, if we don't pick up the ball and begin to fight, they will think it's hopeless to fight to be all you can be if the outcome is that you will never be free. The bible says nothing is new under the sun and everything that was shall be again, which means as slavery has gone around it is back again, you better get up and start now to ensure their future as free men and women.
Remember the mere fact that Obama is a person of some color ties his hands to all that he can do for the black race, for everytime he moves they will throw the race card in his face.
You allow these children to sit back and do everything but go to school, you better get them out of that bed and take a stand on education, because it will not be too long before you have to pay for an education. Grants will diminish because they will say nobody is using them, and without good credit you won't be able to attend college.
Don't get so comfortable that you fail to see what is coming look at the city, county and other governments, instead of using money to train people to work, they are using them that are on welfare to slave for their checks. Yes some are abusers of the system as with anything, but not everyone can do any better, so why not put them in some of them high paid training programs our tax dollars pay for than placing them in positions they would never be able to compete for on the open job market. Yeah you say this is not hurting you, but you see my sisters and brothers it really is, because they can get people to work for what we pay taxes for them to get for free, you can't get a Government job because why pay for what you can get done for free.
So all those fancy degrees you got soon does you no good. By the way how many of you actually work or have jobs in your field of study? You better wake up before you find your freedom gone.
The economy right now is ripe for the picking but you are asleep all comfortable in your zone. While there is a recession it is bad for some but good for others, those who it's good for, if you ever wanted to own a peice of america the time is now, so take some of your bling money and buy some houses and land. They have so blinded with the credit issues, that you don't even know that you don't even have to have good credit to buy a house or five at the cost of one. We as a people has had to use our credit to live and some of us have absolutely none, if your credit is already bad, go bankrupt, what have you got to lose? You already got bad credit, bankrupt means that they will clear out your credit history, it never stopped Donald Trump from being rich.
Why do you think they are going to change the bankrupt laws because somebody done messed around and told black people what that means, now what used to cost 99 dollars has now gone up to 600 because it is another way of keeping you down. Child run out and get you a lawyer, yeah, they got some cheap ones and even some free, and clean out your credit before the recession is over. Buy, Buy, Buy, Buy house, and land, God said you should have it, so go out and get it. This time be sure and pay for it, for you will have enough money to keep it up. Don't sleep on your second chance wake up people your destiny is at hand.
I can go on and on about how to pick up the ball but if you don't get up and move my words are in vain. We as a people have a very bad problem of believing nothing that's good for us and in believing nothing that is good for us we tend to fall for everything that will destroy us.
PLEASE GET UP AND FIGHT, FOR YOUR RIGHT TO BE ALIVE, YOUR RIGHT TO DO MORE THAN JUST SURVIVE, YOUR RIGHT TO LIVE LIFE AND LIVE IT MORE ABUNDANTLY.
